I have Ventoy on a USB stick, tried to use it recently for DBAN and it didn’t work, is there any way to get around that these days? Haven’t looked into it recently.

You might be thinking of the Ultros and Relm fight in Final Fantasy VI (link is a bit spoilery… but FF6 is pretty old by this point!)
If you were looking for a skill with soft lock capability, Sketch definitely has you covered there as well.
Same manufacturer as the McDonalds ice cream machines that don’t work in hot weather no doubt.
This I think is the key here really. Without pitting Lando first, Oscar likely (not guaranteed obviously but likely) wins. So the only reason Lando was in a position to win was because the team decided to do something they believe was needed to secure P1 and P2.
That being said, ever since getting his first win, Lando’s been chomping at the bit for a second one. Every race since that he hasn’t won he’s been incredibly down on himself. I hope the team are getting him someone to work with to work through that, and that they’re realising what his state of mind is like when these types of things happen during a race.
Given the partisan nature of the Supreme Court at the moment, anyone who thinks a Democrat trying to use these powers that they’re saying the president has would get away with it is extremely optimistic at best.
Disappointed for Oscar, he deserved the win today but now it’s gonna feel like it was given rather than earned. That being said, am really happy for him getting his first win on the board, and I’m sure it won’t be the last for him, he’s driving really well and the McLaren car is performing vs the competition at the moment.
I heard the commentary team say he’s the only driver this season to be in every lap all season, which definitely doesn’t hurt either.
Not broken, you just weren’t fast enough, someone got to it before you did.
I’ve had one instance of a baby in business class. Was flying from Johannesburg to London for work, so was lucky enough that work policy allowed business class for a flight of that length. Someone had a baby with them also in business and that kid screamed non stop virtually the entire flight. Was a lot of unhappy people when we landed.
Was an overnight flight too so the expectation was that everyone would sleep the majority of the trip. Nope.
Was looking for this. The crossover randomiser of Link to the Past and Super Metroid is a masterpiece, and if you like one or both of the games it provides you with a new way to have the complete the game every time you play it.
Add in the different flavours like entrance randomiser (where not only are the items shuffled but the doors you enter don’t go where they normally go), or keysanity (where keys don’t stay in their dungeons and can instead be anywhere) and it turns what was already a great SNES area game into something you can play over and over again.
Oh, you think they’re done? Clearly there’s more coming.
The last time France used it was in 1977, so while it might have started a while back they only stopped using it less than 50 years ago.
Someone crunched the numbers and worked out this was cheaper than dealing with people wanting refunds of their DLC content when the main game was delisted.
I can’t speak to the Xbox stuff but for the most part I feel the Dawntrail launch has gone really well. Yes, there’s some bugs, that’s usually inevitable for a launch of this size, but the only game breaking one I’ve seen was Syrcus Tower which was fixed in under 24 hours without bringing the game down for maintenance.
But I don’t think there’s been anywhere near as many queuing issues as there was in Endwalker, and while I’m only just past the first dungeon in the MSQ the only issues I’ve seen (other than ST) have been cosmetic.
That’s fair enough too. Man has earned some rest! As long as that’s all it is, was worried maybe he’d gotten sick.
Might have just missed it. Is Martin Brundle just not on commentary this weekend or is there a reason he’s not there? Missed him on the grid walk today.
Oh, I missed them having to backpedal on that! That’s good news.
You’ve achieved something you wanted to get done, don’t belittle that! Enjoy your chill afternoon 😊
That good advice, thank you, will definitely give that a shot!
