Neither do they. Their “leadership” scattered before anyone got into the Capital on Jan6th and the pawns scattered when the first one of these died.

Those people scattered hard when one of their’s died on January 6th. None of them really know how bad it gets in countries that actually go through revolutions. Not that we shouldn’t be prepared to protect ourselves, but they have no wherewithal to follow though to the end.
One of the main taking points of the anti-wokes is that people are shoving politics into every piece of media and that they’re being oppressed as a result. Just because many “wokes” are asserting media is inherently political, doesn’t make it true.
In reality the line between “political” and “non-political” is nonsense
I disagree. I’m going to broadly define “political” as things involving how people interact with each other. I’d rather call it “social” and further limit political as referring more formal, legal policies, but that does get more muddled.
I already mentioned the original Death Race 2000 as a satire of violence in media, but it seems the remakes and its squeals missed that memo. What’s the messages of the Fast and the Furious movies? Tom and Jerry?
Japanese director is a good case study for Political vs non-political messages. Is Utena political? That show is about how teenages are in this in between phase often put an adult importance on childish things. Penguindrum is about how Japanese culture had a conservative as a result of the sarin gas attacks, which is absolutely about policy and politics. Sarazanmai is about the difference between Want vs Need and Love vs Lust, which to me is less politics and more Human Condition issues.
I assert Human Condition isn’t inherently political. If you disagree, what’s the “politics” of WORLD OF TOMORROW? I just get uncomfortable feelings regarding my mortality. IT’S GREAT!
Not sure the tree needs a camouflage hat, but maybe collect some seeds, grow a new tree, and award the tree a medal for it’s parent’s heroism.
What if we minted all the comments our users make into NFTs and sell them? Also, POGs. They’re due for a comeback.
Yeah, the story behind the game is political, but the game itself isn’t. Not to say those early, arcade games couldn’t be political. The Death Race game, was based on Death Race 2000, a satire on violence in media.
I’m not afraid of politics in media. I just don’t agree with the statement that “All media has politics”. The anti-woke crowd would have you believe that all new media has politics in it, which is an absolutely ridiculous claim.
Except when they do protect creators.

Often times, when an artist get caught with plagiarism, the publisher drops them before it even go to court. After all, why would the publisher pay an “artist” who’s not really drawing? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incarnate_(comics)
Who exactly are you talking about with the TV patent? Farnsworth had the patent for the CRT TV and I don’t remember ever hearing about a dispute over it. Also, dragging the court battle until the patent expires doesn’t mean the offending company wouldn’t still be on the hook for past violations. Something about this story doesn’t add up.
Wait until reddit introduces that “feature”.
I wonder how many false autism diagnoses were are from kids not having enough interactions at a young age? I was diagnosed with a learning disability, which today would absolutely be called ADHD/autism and the “extra help” only gave me an intelligence complex. I would rather have been held back then held to the lower standard that I was.
Tetris has entered the chat.
I thought I was just a construct built by a false consensus? How can you be mad at something not real?
Do you have family you can stay with? Maybe you should see a therapist.
Fake consensus reality is not objective, though it claims to be.
I’d like to know an example of what you’re talking about. If you mean Scientific Consensus, it doesn’t claim to be, but it’s a hell of a lot closer to saying “shut up, god did it.”
Sounds more like you found yourself in some youtube hole with a consensus that doesn’t reflect reality.
Your statement is self contradictory. If Reality is Objective, then it can’t be destroyed.
Do you not remember where “Let’s go Brandon” came from? Rightwingers interrupted an interview with shouts of “Fuck Joe Biden” and the interviewee tried bring attention back to the interview.
having Thanksgiving dinner
Funny, I always remember is the cranky old men bring up politics during Thanksgiving dinner. I’ll take your word on the movies though. I gave up watching them because I started noticing how conservative movies are. Much easier to find an environmentalist villain then a environmentalist hero.
Conservatives didn’t even know how to use a computer in the 90’s. Stormfront was created in 95, but it’s userbase was tiny compared to those private facebook groups today.
I never played Hypnospace Outlaws, but Slayers X by the same dev is awesome. Also devoid of any politics. I have a hard time believing Hypnospace Outlaws has any strong politics other then characters having none-cis identities.
Unlimited IP protections only benefit the rich. If we return copyright back to its original 25 year limit, it would actually benefit the actual artists because the corpos would have to pay artists for new ideas pretty frequently.
