I work for a small business. And I’m not blinded by rage. But when I was looking for a job companies that pull this sort of “always hiring” thing are pretty frustrating.

Also, it’s not my fault if you misrepresented your companies policy. “Always accepting resumes” and “always hiring” are similar but different enough for you to switch when it was convenient for your argument. Not falling for your faux high road and trying to mischaracterize my argument.

Why does your company waste people’s time saying they’re hiring when they’re not? That’s a whole other problem… called lying… but I guess it’s okay because everyone is being treated like shit equally?

You can get fresh resumes by putting up a listing on Indeed and get new ones almost immediately. There’s no excuse for lying to applicants.

You are absolutely right about old stone houses. I live in an old stone cottage surrounded by trees and it’s amazing in the summer. We turn our ac on a few weeks to a month after everyone else does(in the US).

The winters aren’t too bad either. We have a tiny wood stove and even when using the oil furnace it holds heat in pretty well.

Side bonus! Home owners insurance gives us a break because the risk of fires goes way down when the outside is made of rocks.

I’ve seen religious people treat the word Humanist as if it was a dirty word right alongside atheist and then conflating atheism and humanism with Satanism. “The best trick Satan ever pulled was making you believe he isn’t real.”

It’s okay, that’s how I feel about the monster hunter games. Just couldn’t get into them. I also found the weird dimorphism that the monster hunter armor had off putting. I wanted my woman character to have real armor, not a bikini. I get some people like that, but it wasn’t for me.

The gameplay wasn’t as fun as I anticipated, and I can’t place my finger on why. It’s weird… I WANT to like those games but just don’t find them enjoyable.

Sometimes we just just don’t vibe with a game. It happens!

It is very strange and alarming that project 2025 is this huge fucking problem that no one is truly addressing in any formal way.

I mean, the people behind it are essentially wealthy domestic terrorists who keep paying off the Supreme Court with “gratuities.” Someone needs to put a stop to this blatant display of corruption and fascism. I don’t understand what’s taking so long.

Unfortunately you are right on this one. They couldn’t even get Equal Rights Ammendment passed and it was proposed in 1923. It got tossed around and talked about and got close to being ratified over the past century but ultimately didnt make it through.

Then in 2019 Alabama, Louisiana and South Dakota actually sued to prevent ERA from bring ratified when it was brought up again. That’s how much some states hate progress.

It’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out though. Will they kill it immediately or will it sit around in limbo for a century?

Maybe the Supreme Court knows something we dont… for example some folks on the electoral college having been promised bribes… I mean “gratuities” for voting Trump in no matter what the popular vote is.
I’m not saying that’s definitely happened, but at this rate the corruption in our government has gone so far it wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Especially with the absolute crock of shit that’s been pouring out of the Supreme Courts rulings and how it’s conveniently setting them up for this, or something similar.

I agree on this one. The Supreme Court is clearly compromised and needs to be thoroughly investigated for corruption and have their recent, self interest driven rulings revoked.
It’d be a super presidential act that’d definitely benefit all of us. Guess they can’t charge him for breaking the rules to fix this cluster fuck.
