Doctors and nurses worried they will have to grow a spine and do things the ways their forbears did in order to help their patients. Precious few of mine, or my wife and kids’ doctors, have been interested in doing any more than the bare minimum they could, both to stay out of trouble, and moreso to keep from getting in trouble(mostly, having to expend any effort to ensure insurance paid them).

Could be. The obliviousness is far more disappointing though. She might have liked OP better than her boyfriend in the end. At a minimum “I (knowing/unknowingly)turned down a threesome” is lot less pathetic than what we got.

Problem with corporal punishment is that the adults who would put it in the job description and accept it will tend to be into it. Same for domination.

I prefer a job where the methodology at least trends towards the supposedly intended results, not that I’m at all opposed to fetish/kink fulfilment. Just don’t tell me the purpose is to help you write an unrelated book, or that my performance is evaluated by your progress in such at all.
