I believe the calorie is a derived unit while the Joule is a base unit.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.

Actually, I suspect those are balls of iron.
Add this to the list of reasons not to shop at Amazon.
Seriously, I only shop there unless I can’t find something anywhere better, and even then I ask myself just how much I want or need this item. Very similar policy to the one I have regarding Walmart.
On a related note, I would say “Fuck Walmart with a rusty spoon”, but I figure that would be a massive insult to the rusty spoon.
Oh.
Whoops. Sorry, I clearly missed that. I guess I did the woosh. Lol.
Where’s that from?
Eww, there’s like hardly any trees. 🤮
…Well okay then.
woosh
Yes, I was doing the akchually thing. That’s kind of the joke. Hence the “teeeechnically” part.
Sounds romantic.
Lol, that’s Ms Big Shot to you, friend. xP
(Also, for the record, in case you were serious, most potatoes tend to be sold in sacks or netted bags, so it’s the individually wrapped potatoes that are the odd ones out…)
You can do that with bagged potatoes too. It’s called OPEN THE BAG, GRAB A POTATO, AND PUT IT ON A PLATE IN THE MICROWAVE. Lol.
(Obviously wash it first.)
I don’t know but it pisses me off.
Teeeechnically they’re giant fucking Pentahedrons, not triangles. :P
If that pisses you off, you should come to the store I work at. I shit you not, they sell INDIVIDUALLY PLASTIC-WRAPPED potatoes.
Wasteful dicks.
Okay, but the real crime here is the fact that the “Right Lane” sign is on the left & the “Left Lane” sign is on the right.
Fucking sadists…
Let’s face it: if you have a refrigerator that is connected to the Internet, you probably deserve it. :P
Disclaimer: Obviously not of course. I’m just making a joke because IoT kitchen appliances are stupid.)
Are…you making a joke or serious? I genuinely can’t tell…
It is always okay to post Dickbutt. No exceptions*.
*Exception: when dealing with small children.
Yes, you’re right.
There have been multiple iterations of the “metric system” since it’s introduction in 1892–1895, most notably the original 1795 draft variant, then the CGS (Centimeter-Gram-Second) version, then the MKS (meter-kilogram-second) variant, with the most recent incarnation being the International System of Units (SI).
That’s why there are plenty of metric units, but not all of them are SI units. :)
