Nah the sound effects are fantastic. Definitely adds to the weird vibe the game has
For other games that would be described as development hell
Warframe feels just as riddled though with all of its different kinds of currencies and crafting mechanics. It may not have an egregious mtx model but the game loop around it still feels like it’s meant to. I much more enjoyed the game in beta when it was simpler. I go on it now and I haven’t got a fucking clue what to do, fumble around for an hour and just decide to play something else instead.
After what feels like 20 years, it still being in alpha should worry you more than if this current state was called a beta.
100% agree. Wandavision ducted from this too. I really enjoyed every episode except the last.
People have a hard on for steam though so they give it a pass for everything.
I can think of a number of films that are about one character that I need both my hands for. In fact once another one comes out I’ll need a third.
Spider-Man
I loved Shang chi, but hated the third act. I just wanted more of what the rest of the film gave us. I was hoping for a Jackie Chan-esque set piece ending. But instead we got budget infinity war.
In the UK things like that get checked when it comes to grants, they will usually only be valid purchases if spent with approved companies.
Don’t know if they can legally pretend it has a rating though
Yeah i think that tv is still a smart tv just not an android based smart tv (or it might still be Android since that is also very Linux like, especially when you remove Google services)
Who uses the internet without JavaScript? Must have so many broken websites
I disagree, not that much has really changed overall in the grand scheme, just in how and when it’s being told. We mostly just get more.
Like look at the upper junon section. We get everything that was there before, except we get this extra section with the seventh in between the parade and leaving for costa del sol (and the recruitment section just before the parade). Which looking back was one of my favourite bits, especially early on.
I subjectively like it.
I objectively think it’s the best that could’ve been implemented for what it is, it being a blend of real-time combat but with the strategy of classic ATB turn based combat.
The game you loved still exists, and the new ones let you spend a little more time in the world, fleshing out little moments from the original and lingering on them longer and giving these characters’ relationships time to actually breathe and grow more naturally.
I’m sorry it didn’t grab you from the first 15 minutes, you truly are missing out on some awesome moments and gameplay in my opinion. Obviously the latter being mostly subjective, but I do objectively think it’s the best action/ATB system that could’ve ever been implemented.
Because of how people are implicating that. It is technically by design but in my eyes:
1 - it was released early (could be classed as a bug)
2 - is only meant for specific games and/or news posts and not just turned on for every game (I would say that is buggy)
It’s definitely a bug and meant to only be on specific games, I imagine the like of multiplayer heavy or live service games that utilise the news feature to show off new updates
I think it is intended behaviour, but it’s not meant to be a system wide thing. I can see this being useful for multiplayer and live service games.
That’s the thing, had no idea there were specific story missions or where to do them
