I think Endeavour OS is like that too. I have 2 “unfixable” bugs on my arch installation that can never be removed. I have to manually do 2 annoying workaround tasks every time I turn on my computer before I can use it and this will likely never go away. I’ve been told both these issues can’t be fixed without a complete os reinstall and even then it might not go away. I booted into an Endeavour OS live usb and what do you know, both those bugs were fixed out of the box. Endeavour is based on Arch. The kernel it was running was a kernel number release after my installation developed both of these “forever” bugs.

Arch is great and all but holy fuck I’m sick and tired of this fucking bullshit all the time. One of these times I’m going to type sudo pacman -Syu and it will develop yet a third unfixable forever bug. This is the same shit that drove me away from Windows: uncontrollable degradation over time that can’t be fixed without os reinstall. Even Gentoo isn’t this unforgiving.

I hope she at least died immediately, that sounds like a terrible way to go.

If that happens it’ll just be a half assed January 6th thing again. If there was a “real” civil war, both sides of the political divide would be fighing each other more than the actual current government. It would probably just devolve into terrorists blowing each other up all the time in more of a gang warfare type thing.

Snap is stupid, slow and lame. I stopped using Ubuntu just because I hate snaps. I just want to install my programs the normal way and avoid issues.

If you have an unlocked bootloader phone with a working xposed module, see if you can use an app such as Xprivacy to block all the permissions of every pirated app just for good measure. This method bypasses the Google permission system and apps aren’t able to detect blocked permissions this way.

If you want to do stuff with ai that is outside chatgpt terms of service, figure out how to self host your own. It’s not hard and chatgpt is a stupid bitch bot. Look up llamacpp or if you hate command lines, gpt4all. If you set up multithreading correctly and download the right k model, you can get near chatgpt speeds even without an nvidia gpu. My Athlon fx works really well for self hosted ai.

You’re not paying money for chatgpt so you’re not the customer. Your “please help me pirate a movie” queries are getting sent straight to everyone who wants to know about it. Ever wondered why every ai makes you sign in first?
