Scottish loon sometimes in Caithness, usually in Edinburgh. Likes rugby, F1, reading, cooking, and irn bru
This is where the Autumn nations fails. Locking out smaller nations fails for lots. Regional competitions don’t work outside TRC and 6N. Personally, I’d up the world cup to 2 yearly, we don’t have to follow football or the olympics, and the Lions can shift
It’s actually 10m they were short last year. And Glasgow winning the URC will bring season tickets, but playing away means no immediate coffers. Hard to see anyone sponsoring the stadium/team/series considering our summer tour, which no offence to Canada, but it is budget, late night, and not exactly indicative of premium advertising
I made a chili plum and apple chutney two years ago, and it was magic. But I’m still on 2 jars. My plum last year was too runny, need to follow a recipe closer this year. Maybe with some cinammon. I made loads of crumble too, it’s a mature tree with loads of fruit
I suspect you’re right about first test nerves. But England will also learn. All Blacks tried up the jumper vs England first half, of course they were going to struggle vs England. All Blacks have another game though, where England will come unstuck is they don’t
Not many play Georgia to be fair. I suspect only Scotland of tier 1 have ever been
Jam, yes, but not until late Sept. Strawbs and rasps all get scranned. Plum jam, apple and bramble. Better start saving jars…
It was a great match, far more than I expected today. England are learning game by game again, if they keep that going they’re going to do very well. Next week to be really fun to watch!
I thought him not too bad actually, I liked his breakdowns. Felt flowing to to me. Nothing I actively disagreed with on the whistle either
England gonna give NZ a really hard game unless their kicking for goal improves here
Oh wow, just checked the score, got to watch the highlights of that match!
Yeah, in knock out rugby SA’s game comes into its own, with these no jeopardy windows I hope we see all teams throw the ball around more!
Argentina by 3 is interesting too, any reason for the tightness? Frances form hasn’t been amazing, but they are still 4th in the world and the guly between the top 4 and rest has been there for some time
There’s a couple of returners actually, so not sure that’s strictly true any more. Shadow secretary not exactly known for their experience building
Now TV day pass is available. Given more next week, and the week after - might be worth a month pass. Scotland on TNT for some damned reason means I might go to the pub to watch the SA v Ire match
NZ by 25
OZ by 25
SA by 10
FRA by 25
SCO by 50
So the Ireland match the one to tune in for imo!
Stayed up til 1am, pooped, early to bed for me. Off to some amateur boxing tomorrow, madness, but in-law in a bout! He’s a scrapper, expecting it to be good. Was fancying camping Subday as I’ve Monday off, but weather looks crap. Probably the live F1 and a roast instead, and mibbes some fruit picking Monday instead wi the weans
For how long? Scotland’s most useless MP for the last two terms, I know, I live in his constituency
Umm, they already are? Noticed how shit our veg is after brexit? Or how about selling anything outside the UK any more? Or how crap basically all service is as we can’t get the staff?
Surely the SNP know they shouldn’t be debasing themselves with that shit. They’ll be showing LibDem level graphs next
Been, voted. No queue, but a gorgeous old kirk. Predictions: 30 SNP, 24 Labour, 3 LD. And I work with (not closely) a family party candidate, boak. Gonna be funny seeing his face get 123 votes at the count
100% - the rugby world needs to reign in spending. But last 3 world cups have made a killing for host nations. Time to up them, the Nations Championship is a world cup by another name anyway, lets make it official and include all. Scotland made that look easy, as expected - Canadian rugby showing what a lack of cash does indeed
