  • So who is bypassing congress to deliver bombs to Israel? Is it Trump? I thought Joe Biden is the current president. And Biden kept pushing the fact that he is a staunch Zionist. Also Harris kept talking about supporting Israel, providing a stage for families of Israeli hostages, while denying any Palestinian to speak on stage at the DNC congress.

However your immediate attack shows exactly the problem. When people have the wrong skin colour or are in the wrong place, American culture is fine with denying them their humanity and human rights. And that is across the political spectrum as you are showing with your comment.

  • The US is deeply divided and the Democrats are deeply divided. Harris doesn’t have anywhere near the charisma of Obama or Bill Clinton. She will be elected on not being Trump. Take for example how she handled protests against the continued support for Israel at the DNC. She outright told protestors that they shouldn’t talk about it, because that helps Trump and she denied any Palestinian-American to speak, because the party is dependent on AIPAC.

She simply cannot be the president of the “entire country” at the moment. Addressing the rifts created by Trump, Hillary Clinton and the like takes time. Also she will need to purge a lot of people from the Biden establishment before being able to run on her own platform.

  • I doubt that they care much.

Trump broke the JCPOA and sanctioned Iran randomly. Then after a brief time of lip services from the European countries they also fell in line with Trump to sanction Iran. Biden was happy to continue Trumps policy.
Instead of stabilizing the region and opening Iran to the West, which was probably Obamas greatest diplomatic achievement, they doubled down on pushing Iran to China and Russia.

Iran was heavily sanctioned before. They didn’t budge, because they know the US to be lying traitors and the Europeans to just do the bidding of the US. Adding more sanctions on top now will not change that.

Unless the US and Europeans develop some resemblance of political quality of the Obama administration, there is no reason for Tehran to listen to either of them.
