I don’t know how to feel about this.

Where did you get this? If the signature and date is correct, this is stunning. Doing this kind of thing in '89 required some serious commitment. Still does, but modern pixel art tools are a ton easier.
I have had this happen. Mostly with weird, old, or cheap (or some combination thereof) hardware. Like sometimes the connection will hitch for a moment then three or four letters will come out backwards. Couldn’t say for sure what the cause is but I suspect either the controller in the board itself is jank, or there’s some kind of protocol / buffer mismatch. I have no solution, but it’s not just you.
I switched to Kvaesitso from Nova. It takes a lot of getting used to because it does most stuff differently, but I’m finding it light, efficient and functional.
Timing and length of ads won’t be consistent between users so this approach doesn’t work.
Using a different client won’t help if the ads are injected directly into the video stream.
Not sure it strictly counts as Grand Strategy as it’s more of a sandbox, but X4 might be up your alley on the sci-fi front. Build a galaxy spanning empire from a single ship; complete missions, mine, trade, explore. You -can- fly the ships, but you don’t have to. You can just sit in a station issuing orders.
I’m pretty sure I tried the desktop app method at some point. Didn’t work at all for me but I can’t recall why.
Huh. That actually sounds familiar now that you write it out in full. I guess we’re both right.
Oh it’s an absolute slog for sure. And I can’t even guarantee it still works. I wouldn’t have even tried if I didn’t happen to chance upon a suitable device. Definitely wouldn’t recommend paying eBay prices for one just to do this.
Maybe that’s the policy at some stores, but according to the ACCC, it has to be sold at the cheaper price, or not sold at all.
I’ve done this successfully, but you need to jump thru quite a few hoops. These instructions are for Kindle only. I think dedrm can cope with Nook encryption but I don’t know how to do it. It was a while ago now, but to the best of my recollection:
I’m not totally sure all this still works. You’re honestly probably better off getting a Boox device and downloading stuff from Anna’s Archive or similar.
Oh for fucks sake. I don’t use their email but I don’t want to have to switch VPN service AGAIN.
If you’re into boomer shooters, you can’t go past the original doom for infinite playability. Literally 30 years worth of user created content and mods.
There was that artist back in the early 2000s who made caviar from her own eggs.
Short answer: yes.
Shattered Pixel dungeon is based on pixel dungeon, adds a bunch of new stuff and is reasonably actively developed.
That AI moderation thing is working real well I see.
I use jabref and this extension quite heavily. I can assure you that it does send the URL to jabref; it gets added as a Misc reference with the site URL in the optional fields. On my firefox / windows system it does show greyed out in the plugins menu like you say, however it adds a jabref logo in the address bar which can be clicked (or alt+shift+j) to send to jabref.
I just tried it on my linux system though, and it doesn’t work for me, either. Suspect some sandboxing weirdness because I have jabref as a flatpak but firefox running natively. I’m just coming back to linux from a few years hiatus so I’m hoping someone better than me at this can check in.
Jabref does have some troubleshooting steps for their extension that might be worth trying though, depending on your install.
Suppliers should be paid fairly, and I’m glad the fines actually seem meaningful (in theory, anyway; those are maximum penalties. I doubt they’ll actually get applied any time soon). It won’t help the average consumer tho.
Supermarkets here use their position as middlemen to squeeze both ends of the supply chain; they short their suppliers and price gouge their customers. The code of conduct only fixes one side of this. It applies purely to dealings with suppliers, and has nothing to do with retail pricing.
It’s more likely retail prices will increase to maintain the profit margin. Line must go up and the plebs just have to suck it.
