naaaah, surely around 30 different massive companies all did a fleet order on the same day at the same dealership? there’s no way the wanker who constantly manipulates stocks would manipulate sales!

wouldn’t surprise me, antivax movement has a strong association with the raw milk cheesebreathers.
Yarr, good to have a new cap’n in the fleet
something that’s concerning me is the number of influenza cases happening in australia right now
starting the year with over double the average reported cases, and we’re still in summer. Think i’ll get my vaccine early this year.
GenAI isn’t inherently anti-artist or anti-humanity, but genAI when implemented and controlled by large tech corporations inevitably ends up causing harm.
I’m definitely against the current paradigm of incredibly massive models; they have a clear harm in terms of their energy cost and data requirements. But the machine learning practised by tech giants isn’t the whole field; i’m personally working on an album where i’ve taken a small wavenet model, trained it on my own stems, and use it to generate new sounds conditioned on what music i’ve already laid out. You could call it a duet i guess.
The training cost in energy was lower than what a refrigerator uses in a day. And most of all, i am the only artist involved and i’m telling you directly i’m not harmed by this. Machine learning isn’t the problem, it’s the capitalist mindset directing how machine learning is used.
Rusty spoon would be more satisfying.
yandex is pretty solid for finding media
