Some kind of dinner party punch/cocktail, I would imagine.

I read it more as “your personal electronics won’t enjoy the brownouts and blackouts from having shitty frequency stability on the grid” more so than “your personal electronics will directly suffer from frequency instability,” but maybe I read it with subtext because I’m literally studying power systems right now.
Did it convince him to change his mind on that his policy on the cameras? Or did he just continue on?
Not if having the second employee allows you to deny benefits to both employees.
+1, very much enjoying using keyboard for Tekken. Haven’t had much luck with games like SF that might require 360/720 inputs.
I can handle any action game, platformer, etc. using a controller, despite heavily preferring a keyboard and mouse (excluding racing). I still can’t play FPS/TPS games on a controller… it has to be m&k.
Imagine growing up and remembering the one time Uncle Derrick took pictures with you and then took your family out to a nice dinner.
And then you realize they were just using your likeness to push restrictions of reproductive rights.
Who’s downvoting this? The article is literally about black hole smiting dwarf stars with particle beams!
lovin u is complicatED, lovin u is complicated 🎵
I thought they meant to use “genre,” which makes more sense because who calls a type of meme a “genus?”
Starscourge Radahn was a pain in the ass to fight before the nerf. He dealt more damage and was more aggressive, so you really couldn’t make any risky plays unless you had way more vigor and stamina than you’d need to reach the arena.
I never fought him pre-patch with magic, but I heard he used to dodge spells more often since he would finish an attack and quickly switch to an attack that moves him.
I still don’t understand the intended meaning of her ending. I remember there being talk of a strange translation that largely changed the tone.
Or alternatively, if you want to get to Caelid quickly to perform the dragonbarrow skip, kill Greyoll, and grab Radagon’s Soreseal…
I hope you meant “much like with foreign people” and don’t actually mean to say that foreign people don’t pursue understanding and instead lash out.
It’s interesting that Wikipedia says it’s pronounced " S-Q-L" but was historically pronounced “sequel.”
Also interesting, MySQL says on their site:
The official way to pronounce “MySQL” is “My Ess Que Ell” (not “my sequel”), but we do not mind if you pronounce it as “my sequel” or in some other localized way.
Lastly, for those curious, PostgreSQL says on their site:
PostgreSQL is pronounced Post-Gres-Q-L.
I really hope to see more developments in the realm of gravity batteries. In many cases they are not geographically constrained, given that it only requires vertical space and mass. Ideally, the land already has high variation in elevations, but the storage capacity can still be increased in areas with little vertical space by increasing the mass of the weight being lifted/lowered.
I’m sure you know this, but for curious readers: pumped hydro is also a gravity battery, but it requires two bodies of water at differing elevation. This means it’s limited to coastal areas and places like dams. It’s also limited by the smaller capacity reservoir between the two bodies of water; the amount of water moved cannot exceed the maximum capacity of the upper body, nor can it exceed the extra capacity of the resevoir of the upper body.
If anything, being very strict about food intake usually leads to unhealthy eating behavior, at least according to every person I know who has issues with food in either direction. Including myself.
Bastion has a slew of great soundtracks and environments, and I found the story very impactful. Highly recommend trying the game if you can!
If OP said “Bitch, I blah blah blah” then it could be argued that it’s a figure of speech and not directed towards the waitress… but OP said “Fucking bitch” with no comma, so it’s clearly directed at her.
I didn’t hear about this, would you mind explaining? I can already tell it’s some unhinged republican speaking point.
