No. I think the whole community has only had three deleted posts, two of which were spam. But I could have tried to encourage what members we have more by taking some initiative and sharing memes, starting discussions, things like that. I’ve seen other mods who helped grow their community in that way, but it’s not what I’m built for at the best of times.

I do thank you for the words of encouragement, though.

Not just young people. I’ve seen this kind of behavior in surprisingly old people such as Gen X and even Baby Boomers, but I’ve seen it in a LOT of millennials, the youngest of whom are now in their early thirties and the oldest are in their forties.

So long as you’re being up-front about it with everyone and you’re all on the same page, I don’t see a problem with it.

I’m not a hook-up kind of guy, myself, so I don’t go that route with anyone. But I don’t see anything weird about it for someone who is.

Threadiverse is a nickname for the Reddit-like conversation thread style of Fediverse websites in contrast to the Twitter-like Fediverse websites.
