It’s not all about Trump or Biden personally though. It’s the people they appoint and install to run the government and who they have as advisors. Trump has shown he selects the absolute worst people, who tend to be a combination of malicious, criminal and incompetent. Biden, on the other hand, built a competent administration who is actually interested in competently running the executive branch for the positive benefit of Americans.

Persian meat dishes with mint are amazing, too.

Mint has a whole bunch of relatives that are awesome too, such as basil, sage, savory, marjoram and oregano. We have one that grows wild around here, some weird sage/mint with purple flowers, which bees and hummingbirds love.

I sure haven’t. That’s a deluded conservative thing… they say they need guns to defend from an overbearing government, then they’re the idiots who vote for freedom-infringing authoritarians. It also hasn’t made sense in decades at best, given that they’d be gravy seals fighting army or police with their handguns while the government has helicopters, grenades, night vision, comm systems (like, they think they’d have cell service in a civil war?) and so on. Maybe some organized group could pull off an Iraq or Afghanistan style resistance, but it seems unlikely.

Communism and socialism were heavily demonized for years by the capitalist political machine and their complicit/owned media. Also communist groups in the 20th century were persecuted by the FBI and so forth. As a result, most politicians don’t want to be openly perceived as “socialist” because there’s so much bullshit about it that the average person has no idea what the fuck it means but has a negative association. So, people like AOC and Sanders are the best we can get.

Was there a significant population of Jews in Japan or China at that time? Or ever?

Anyway, there are so many things wrong with the pontifications of this pretentious pseudo-philosopher that it’s difficult to know where to start. The article does a fair job of addressing how affordability concerns play a role, in terms of money and time, which is lost on someone as financially out of touch as Musk, who also seems to spend 18 hours a day not working or parenting but rather fucking around on Twitter.

While overall his perspectives are too braindead to make it worth listing all the problems with them, it is worth noting that this spiel is part of his racism and white supremacist views.

How else would one interpret it?

Americans are all about ethnicities like that, such as “I’m half Polish and half German on my mother’s side” or “my family is Italian” though technically they’re from Long Island or Wisconsin or something. Almost nobody describes their heritage as just “American”.

A generation that thought television was stupid and preferred to be nonsensical and talk and discuss with each other.

That one sure is BS. Then also…

A generation that met to watch their favorite series together.
