I have a ‘just a job’ and to give you a different perspective: we are bored as fuck and many people survive by socialising. People make friends and start relationships there all the time. There’s a social club and other groups of friends that regularly see each other outside of work. It’s also shift work with regular overtime and weekend work so people can’t always easily socialise outside of their job.

I appreciate your comment. I would just like to say that sometimes when 12 and 13 year olds get involved with older people in a ‘consensual’ relationship it is a sign of something wrong, trauma/depression/anxiety etc. It’s not normal for healthy children.

I think their presentation was a deliberate choice in order to make a traditional, conservative family structure appealing to the left. I’ve seen this talking point come up a few times recently and I’m not going to just ignore tbe sexism. Working from home, shorter work weeks and more of the profits going to workers are ways to tackle people being overworked. Sending women home to work for their husbands is not the solution.

I don’t get society. It seems to me that if respecting women and girls was actually something people cared about then the rapist would be gone. Instead we get this virtue signalling. They’ll put a rapist on the stage and cheer for him but one sexist remark and you’re off. It’s just lies.
