Apparently that’s an unpopular opinion, but to free themselves the ideal path forward is to conduct terrorist attacks on civilians? That certainly didn’t seem to improve things. And bombing civilians isn’t a great response either.
Maybe how the conflict itself came to be isn’t simple (and calling anything simple that involves politics is probably always wrong). But the situation for the people in the Ukraine itself is pretty simple. They’re being attacked and they’re defending themselves.
I mean … one of these is a violent conflict where mostly civilians are being hit, on both sides. The other is a country defending itself from an invasion. One of these is really complicated and I’m pretty sure violence won’t solve much. The other one really isn’t complicated on the same level and violence (defense) is pretty much the only choice.
I get what you’re trying to do, but tbh I’m not convinced that that’s a good idea.
I’m pretty sure there’s at least a good portion of people in !virtualreality@lemmy.world that want nothing to do with Quest due to Meta being the company behind it. Even though the Quest community is quite small, at least everyone in it signed up for it (except for people coming at the posts from other places). There‘s nothing keeping vr people from following two communities if they choose to.
Forcing everything Quest related onto the vr community to have a bigger audience is comparable to … idk, forcing electric cars onto a combustion engine community. Sure, it’s related, but maybe they specifically don’t want to see that there.
Wait, what? I didn’t know they had newer games as well. Did that change at one point or has it always been this way?
You can add Voyager to the list of native iOS clients (also new icon): https://testflight.apple.com/join/nWLw1MBM
If you find the time, do you think you could try a version with some thicker strokes? I think it looks absolutely amazing if you look at it full size, but as an icon many of the details are lost. I feel like everything has to be “more extreme” for it to still work and be visible on the tiny icon
Definitely one of the best
Well, that at least explains what community I ended up in. Thanks for the clarification.
