Fuck those type of people. Not much worse than the people who think they’re better than everyone else, yet objectively are shit.
As always. It’s what they always do. They intentionally set dates in the future they know the Dems will likely be in charge, and let the bullshit they set into motion inevitably hit the fan while they blame the “current” government. And the media goes with it instead of calling them out on it because that’s where the money is.
News organizations should be required to be non-profit. At least force them to try and hide the money trail.
After learning about the chef, it becomes impossible to not see him anymore when looking at the states.
I mean that’s what happens when you cancel everything and close studios.
Can’t release anything if you aren’t making it.
The Senate is. The House is not. The artificial limit of 435 set in 1911 has turned it into a pseudo-Senate and done a lot of harm to this country. With the same population representation as then, we should have around 1600 Representatives now.
A lot of the issues we currently have in Congress simply wouldn’t exist with the House operating as it was designed.
This is where the issue is. The Senate works as intended, it is meant to give the States equal power so a State like California can’t just dictate what Delaware does. The House is supposed to represent based on population. The arbitrarily low cap has turned it into a second pseudo-Senate.
The House should have something like 1600 members to properly represent States. Every House seat should represent roughly the same amount of people, but that’s not how it works now because of the limit. Two Representatives from different states can represent massively different sized populations.
Not at all. It just depends on who you’re trying to reach. If your target demo isn’t very specific, you could get many more views at a lower cost.
If your product is only relevant to 18-35 year olds then that’s probably not a good idea. But if your target demo is basically anyone, then general marketing works well. A Nissan Leaf has a much larger potential market than an Audi E-Tron for instance.
You can also have separate targeted marketing to ensure specific demos get more focus or have specific targeted variations of the ad campaign.
You seem to forget that not all advertising is targeted. Some is just general market advertising and will play everywhere.
It’s cheaper because it’s not targeted, but also can be a better option depending on what you’re trying to market and who you’re trying to reach. It also means the ads will play to people who don’t care as a side effect.
It’s not just targeting parents. It’s also general market advertising. Some ads are meant to be played widely, usually to increase general brand awareness and aren’t targeted. Those ads will play everywhere ads are enabled, regardless of the demographic.
What a surprise. The bid the families are backing to win despite not being the highest, is being challenged.
The higher “backup” bid is a company setup by Alex Jones sycophants to maintain control of their propaganda brand, despite the purpose of the entire defamation lawsuit and the reason for it being sold in the first place.
They can go fuck themselves. The reason it is being sold off in the first place is the damage done to the families. Their opinion should have weight, if not outright make the decision of who wins the bid.
Wow UT99 is still going. I might have to take a look at that again. It’s been years.
I’ve never heard of Hydro power boiling water. Usually hydro power is natural or pumped storage.
You’re just taking water from an upper reservoir and dropping it to a downstream river. Either a naturally-filled reservoir/lake, or a pumped storage reservoir where you use other cheap power during low usage periods to pump that water to a higher reservoir to utilize later. The pump doesn’t heat the water, it just moves it uphill to utilize later, like the Taum Sauk Hydroelectric Power Station in Missouri.
They know people will massively overpay for storage. Their entire company history has been severely overcharging for memory and storage space.
I mean the Onion was overshadowed only because real life went off the rails and became a parody of itself.
Nearly all power generation comes down to boiling water to steam which spins a turbine.
I can only think of two common exceptions off the top of my head. Solar is an exception and Hydro power is an exception ironically, that usually uses the vertical difference and gravity to spin the turbine.
14 million isn’t something Harris could do on her own. They left because the Dem establishment gave no reason to show they cared about people. While the Republican were saying “it’s hard, we’ll fix it” the Dems kept insisting “it’s actually not that bad”.
Obviously the Reps “fix” will be worse, but the Dems just stuck their head in the sand and ignored everything the average American needs to get by on a daily basis. It’s why 14 million voters abandoned them. 1 million went to Trump, the other 13 million gave up.
It’s almost as anti-technology as about half of the Congress Critters. The ones older than email at least, seems to be the general benchmark for insisting on the old ways.
Not the OP, but I started reading it, and the first sentence is starting the bullshit already.
Conservatives backed Trump by bigger percentages than in 2020.
There were 1 million more votes for Trump than in 2020, while there were 14 million fewer votes for Harris compared to Biden. So while it’s technically true it’s ignoring the damned elephant in the room. 13 million people didn’t sit out this election or switch sides because of Liz Cheney.
If the very first sentence is already this disingenuous, the rest of the article isn’t even worth wasting my time.
The issue is what the valuation of the seized assets are. The asset seizure is only to fulfill the monetary debt since he cannot pay the entire amount in cash. If he could pay it in full, there would be no seizure (unless the seizure itself was a separate part of the judgement). The valuation is essentially what someone is willing to pay for it, and in this case, there are only 2 bidders to value it.
The Onion’s bid was not the highest bid, but does have the backing of the family. Jones on the other hand also has a right for the valuation to be as correct as possible to fulfill his debt. This type of situation isn’t particularly unique, and it’s not exactly new.
The Judge could end up deciding that The Onion’s bid goes through due to family backing since the debt is to them and the asset being sold is directly relevant to the judgement, but the valuation of the opposing bid is counted against the debt, which is the only thing Jones is really entitled to here.
