As a cat owner, this doesn’t even look like a real print. It’s too deep. Most likely a manufactured print done as a gag by whoever made the bricks.
Hey, he’s like, just this guy, you know?

Library is live as of 9/9, and the first two books have gone out into the wild!
Both non-fiction.
The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat - Oliver Sacks

Maus - Art Spiegelman - Pulitzer Prize winner

Both excellent choices!
This is why we can’t have nice things! ;)
When you register a library, they post it on the map in their app for your location so you can easily see all the Little Libraries around you!
It’s the address for the library. We’re good!
Yeah, not big on propaganda, I expect to see lots of Watchtowers, Books of Mormon, etc. Will be checking daily.
That’s fantastic! A real keeper!
Nope, just the one. Non-Fiction on the right, fiction on the left.
I separated them for the photos so you could see all the books.
It won’t be ready, ready until the 9th. My kid got me the untreated fence post and bench and bare wood isn’t going to hold up in Oregon rain, so this weekend is priming and painting, then the install is going to happen Saturday the 9th.
The library itself is weatherproof, made from recycled milk jugs of all things!
I’ve been a huge fan of Jon J. Muth ever since Moonshadow:
We have a little sign that says we distribute banned books. :)
I found Snow Crash the easiest of his to get through. Love the Deliverator and Uncle Enzo. Would love a film version with Jason Momoa as Raven.
Putting Maus, They Called us Enemy and Nat Turner may be too much in the initial batch, but we’re on a school route and that’s the sort of stuff they won’t get in school. :)
Fun fact: Circle of Cats and Cats of Tanglewood Forest are the same story. One is a kids picture book, the other a chapter book.
We’re rounding up more this weekend, I’ll see if I can turn it up!
Nope, but if you find yourself in Portland… ;)
Non-fiction section here:
Quick reminder about the rules around wishing death and destruction on people.
That being said, yes, McConnell is one of the key architects of how dysfunctional our system of government has become. From using the filibuster more times during the Obama administration than all prior administrations COMBINED, to blocking a legitimately named Supreme Court Justice, not by allowing him a fair vote, but by denying him a hearing AT ALL.
BUT…
Now hear me out… BUT…
He does have three daughters, Porter, is actually an activist:

You can make fun of the guy, you can hate the guy, but before you wish death on the guy, take just a moment to consider his family and how they must feel watching him break down like this live on camera, not once, but twice.
He’s under criminal indictment, you expect him to just admit that it was a scam, had no legal merit, and would not stand up in court?
Oh, wait:

If you need a literal &, then preceed it with an escape character like “\”.
