I’ve learned this just recently, maybe a week ago or so. That was an absolute game-changer for me. Also, apparently, if you upgrade your staff, you mark souls much more effectively… But, hey, this is why this game is so much fun! You can play for years, and still discover new interesting and unexpected mechanics.
