  • If a 2D tarkov-esque extraction shooter roguelite sounds interesting, check out Zero Sievert. I recommend playing on Hunter difficulty (lose all carried equipment & loot on death) for the real extraction shooter experience.

Other Note: You’re not going to like 5BC in Dead Cells because the game mechanic it introduces (Malaise) requires you to play fast or the game gets way harder.

Ah yes when I think of the FOSS movement I think of greedy corporations that only care about how much money they get out of their contributor’s labor. FOSS has proven the exact opposite if anything: that economics are built on lies, and that people can and will produce useful projects without any economic gain.

Because the only redeeming quality of Windows is the fact a lot of software works on Windows and only on Windows, which is also exactly the problem with Windows. It’s great WINE can exist, but not all platforms support WINE, and as an OpenBSD user first and foremost it means I can’t play many of my favorite games on my preferred platform.

Ultimately, Windows sucks and is a standard because our society puts corporate greed and thieves like Microsoft above superior projects; and even if Microsoft were firebombed off the planet tomorrow, they’re just a symptom of the problem, and it’s only be so long until another thief steps into Microsoft’s position and ruins everything again.
