I went round in circles trying to think what my action should be, but I’m a crafter not a bullet engraver. The most vicious thing I could see myself doing was sending threatening decoupage.

I landed on building community with my neighbours, and have started be giving homegrown produce (mainly kale and loofah), homemade bread and free childcare in my neighbourhood (just a couple of hours a week). I’m also just not spending money until I must, and being more conscious when I must.

The death of the united Healthcare CEO started me thinking, and made me take action. It’s small action, but it’s within my ability. What did it do for you?

(Pic: my photo but not my craft, I bought these fingerpuppets a long time ago, but of course now I have a fave)

Luigi made me realise that maybe there is more solidarity with disabled people than I thought there was.

It made me realize even more how the way out could be through moments like that of collective class consciousness where all the fictional barriers and feuds and boxes fall down and everybody points their finger at the real enemy. Hope to see more and more of it and help if I can

There are very few rich and powerful people in the world that actually care about the rest of us. If we don’t take care of each other, no one will. I’ve also started looking into what I can do locally. I think it’s truly the only way we can get through the world today. Thrive out of spite.

The alleged situation has reinforced the lessons that the ‘upper’ classes are really the lowest in all the characteristics they claim to hold dear. The fact that courts, govt, and corporations are now all perverse manifestations of their cowardice, laziness, and need to feel more valued that someone not born into the same status and stature; reveals that fascism in thier personal life just spills out to destroy other peoples lives when they get scared the general public will wake up and realize, the peopl who ‘earned’ thier millions weren’t smarter, more clever or better; they were just more okay parasitizing thier fellow man to ‘get’ ahead. Sadly, I find more honor right now in the local pot dealer and than a CEO, a Federal judge, a Governor, a Policemen, or clergyman. Because of all the ones who have fallen in line to kiss Trump’s ring, or lose their voice to speak out against the actions and changes going on right now. I’m disgusted by all of these leavened pharisees, and thier sick sad perspetives that allow them to look the other way.
