You can bathe chickens, but only when really needed. And even then, you don’t need to dunk the whole bird, you can just clean the area that needs it, that way they don’t have to repreen their whole body.

That said, this could also be a cold bath for treating an overheating chicken.

But in general, yes, chicken don’t need water baths.
