I have that issue. If you long press the video you can open the video in a separate app which has been working fine for me.

Avelon shows a link to the Imgur page, but doesn’t embed the video inline, even though the setting for that is turned on.
Edit: same with Mlem. Edit: Arctic doesn’t show anything at all.

Not sure what it looks like in other clients, but Tesseract rendered the
embed_video_urlas anmp4video. It plays fine.I use a browser and have to go to the imgur site to view the file.
Works on Samsung Smart fridge proprietary browser.
