It’s not that I couldn’t smell the rot before, it’s that they had offered some sort of off ramp to the fucking insanity happening right now. For them to blow it now, they are officially a sunk cost. Watching people invest any effort their way for the next four years will be exhausting while each one of us need those same people to put their efforts elsewhere.
