A legend. We’re missing a legend.
Title says “energy usage”, from the comments I’d guess this is about “energy creation”. But what energy? Electricity only? Does it include oil, gas and coal used for industry?
What I’m trying to say: The graphic without a context of what it is supposed to show is pretty, but pretty worthless.
This is pretty, but what is the point of it?
To see which areas use clean energy or fossil fuels
By percentage of fossil fuel use per area? By watts of fossil fuels? By CO2-equivalent estimated emissions in a given area? Normalized by population somehow?
There is a lot missing here that is necessary to make it a meaningful plot.
