I don’t know if he means Liberal Democrats in the UK but in Russia and Japan they are literally Far-Right parties if not some of their members being to the right of the AfD. (Specifically LDPR the LDP (Japan) are also National Conservatives and are very Right-Wing.)

The Mensheviks were demsocs and Trotsky was a Menshevik until 1904 for being to liberal and ancaps somehow thinks that socdems are no different from “commies”.
