After the purge on reddit, I finally switched to lemmy and I am trying the waters here and see if I find a person to chat with today

    Hi welcome

    Lemmy is way more chill and relaxed than Reddit. I noticed that there are more men here than women, but most of the guys are all right. I don’t remember getting one creepy message on here, whereas this is common on Reddit.

    If you wanna participate on Lemmy in general about stuff like politics, programming, Linux I think it may be a good choice and more civilised than Reddit.

    Also, less users, less stress but less options as well. So I hope you find something that works for you

      Yeah, it is a bit more relaxed here, which is great.

      It is definitely more civilised, of there are are always some who have strong opinions but I suppose that is completely normal.

      I hope to find some people to talk to as well.
