That’s interesting, because I look at it and I just go “but that’s not Minecraft, that’s some Minecraft knock off?!” It’d be like the Lego movies being rendered entirely out of Mega Blocks or something but still calling it The Lego Movie, it would just feel weird. It’s an uncanny valley adjacent feeling.

You will be super useful to people and able to help them out with your woodworking and computer skills, you will learn new skills adjacent to those hobbies from others and you can bake some treats to take along that will win you instant fans! Also, makerspaces attract people of a wide range of ages and backgrounds that will share many of your interests! It’s a win-win-win!

Great to see the US/Dems getting fired up with some positivity for once! There’s a strong “Let’s goooo!” vibe now! It’s incredible how right-wing influencers targeted Kamala Harris’ laugh in that video, but watching it brings nothing but joy! With all the recent grimness, I’ll take this positivity any day! :-D Kamala is memeable and is leaning into it and I wouldn’t be surprised if they just grabbed that laugh video and used it in their own campaign! :-D (I’m not a US citizen, just excited for you finally!)

Oh he definitly WAS. Still can be on occasion. But the debate, trailing of into incoherance. Recent major gafs mixing up Putin and Zelensky and mixing up Trump and Kamala Harris?! His interview after the debate was better but not great and the harsh fact is that he’s as good as he will ever be right now and only going to get worse with time. As for the other person I was really mostly referring to, Trump has been a babbling, gush of incoherrancy for years!
Hopefully there is potency in someone who can speak full and coherant sentences! :-D You may be right but at the very least it’ll be nice to hear lucid speech again and we’ll soon see if it’s actually effective in the current climate! Wow the bar has been set low!?

No actor/actress should have their pool of potential roles made vanishingly small because of a thing they can’t change, the colour of their skin! And then on top of there being very few roles for people of colour in western pop culture based on your criteria, the very few roles they COULD take are often ALSO given to white actors/actresses in bizarre acts of whitewashing idiocy! It’s infuriating! Talent, passion, skill, training, these should be the kinds of factors involved when choosing who gets cast for what role, not where you fall on the colour wheel! It’s just crazy to me that it’s even a consideration at all and in future people will look back and be incredulous that it ever was!? At least I hope that will be the case, as we are making slow progress in that direction.
