3·15 days agoI am thinking of XR and connected groups that really focused on those principles when organizing.
It would be really interesting to me if there is a difference between movements that “organically” (via trial and error or through their own analysis) come to that strategy and movements that use this and similar research and try to build their movements from the ground up based on this strategy.
I just read a little bit and I am interested: Is this actually useful for activists? The last groups that used a “science based” approach I know of were/are not that successful

Also wenn du Polizei abschaffen willst, den Staat fundamental ablehnst und die Grundpfeiler der aktuellen Wirtschaftsordnung einreißen willst, dann klar bist du linksradikal und nach Maßstäben des Verfassungsschutz halt linksextrem.
Ich finde aber auch, dass der Verfassungsschutz für mich keinen Einfluss drauf hat was oder wen ich gut oder schlecht finde.
Warum?

1·2 months agoInteresting how many different (not so charitable) interpretation of this comic exist in thr comments.
To me this of course a simplification, as its a comic and was postes in !memes
In my opinion this comic shows how nationalism can be used to pit the working class against each other even tho their class interests are pretty similar, no matter which side of the border they are.
I actually like the take from Shaun, but the comments here are just not what I envision this community to be. I missed the post when it was posted and all the comments happen, but this is just not the place for that. Let me make a quick list of things that I don’t think have place here or from my point of view break the server rules:
- calling someone delusional can have a pathologizing connotation and I think should be avoided in discussions
- calling someone racist - Just admit you hate Palestinians - because they disagree with you on something. nobody in this comment sections is denying the oppression of Palestinians or the complicity of US presidents in what is often called a genocide
- using ageism - I grew out of being - and insinuating that people become more wise and well spoken just because they get older.

Also OP I think the format of multiple screenshots with sometimes hard to understand references is not that easy to engage with, especially for folks who need to safe bandwidth or just cant see (good enough). Using a more text based approach and image descriptions might make this more accessible.
Endlich. Kennt irgendwer eine gute Zusammenfassung, besonders mit einem Fokus darauf was weiterhin für unnötige Hürden oder Möglichkeiten zur Diskrimierung bestehen?
0·4 months agoJust use Signal if you want an easy, relatively privacy friendly and secure messenger.
Telegram hands over data to goverments, is infested with spammers and scammers and its encryption is not end to end for group chat which lets Telegram access those chats.
Edit: Telegram is great for lots of things like big groups, communities, piracy, drugs etc but its just not the place where you should expect secure communication.
Yeah thats the story people tell themselves when they call others russian bots. Its like a conspiracy theory because somehow they ignore every other reason why someone disagrees with them.
Or maybe instead of dunking China should do something that actually helps the workers of greece, who might need all the solidarity they can get.
