A former senior Soviet KGB spy chief has claimed that Donald Trump was recruited as a spy by Russian intelligence as early as 38 years ago by his department, and given the codename ‘Krasnov’.

In an extraordinary post on Facebook on 20 February, Alnur Mussayev – who used to run the successor to the Soviet-era KGB in Kazakhstan – claimed that he was personally aware of Trump’s recruitment by the agency in 1987.

The recruitment, he said, was undertaken by his own KGB department. One of the key roles of that department was to acquire intelligence through business leaders in Western countries.

There’s certainly plenty of evidence which could point to kompromat. Even if he’s not compromised they clearly have some sort of “arrangement.” But, again, that’s mind numbingly obvious to anyone with their head not lodged in their ass.

this got no traction during his first campaign, his first administration, after he left office, his second campaign, but i’m sure now having bitten that same bullshit apple a million times, this wildly incidiery clutches pearls “quelle surprise!” revelations, litteraly everyone on the planet has heard a half bajillion fucking times before is going to move the needle. it does’nt, and it won’t. because it’s not true. nothing in trumps actions can be explained by him being compromised by russia, if you’ve payed any attention at all to his entire life history, that can’t also be explained by the simple fact he just wanted to fucking do it.

if it makes you feel better, like you’ve discovered, or uncovered something secret, trump really doesn’t want you to know, because he’s afraid somehow that you can hurt him, or cause him damage, with it, have at it man

it continue to be the stupidenst weakass lazy shit, and as we’re all going down the drain to burn, seeing this being pumped out by the addle brained is annoying as fuck

You’re acting like we’re reaching for conspiracy theories, when all we’re doing is looking at his public actions and declarations.

He couldn’t be acting more Putin, and anti West and Allies if he tried. Even if he isn’t compromised or on side with Putin he’s acting exactly 100% as if he is.

Sorry dude, I don’t believe I can help you. You wander out of that forest of falsehoods and straw men, you let us know.

Thanks for being the sole voice of reason here. You laid it out so clearly and I wouldn’t be surprised if I was the only one to read your comment completely. It’s always odd to me how liberals in America get so offended and immediately abusive/dismissive towards anyone who dares contradict them. It feels like they would gladly tune in to Maddow every night to watch her tease them about another bombshell Trump tax scandal that doesn’t exist. They’re addicted to this drama, and they get every bit as furious as their conservative counterparts when you try to point out that they’re falling for literally the exact same fake scandal from 6 years ago.

Whether Trump was KGB or not, he likes Putin free from any outside influence. Just like he digs Erdoğan and Milei because they are authoritarians, he digs Putin too. How does this not compute?!

cheers, if i were to guess, the russiagate stuff is a way that smart people attempt to justify to themselves how they’ve been “tricked” by trump somehow, to allow that orange idiot dominion over them in not trying hard enough or being smart enough to stop him. i also think this last salvo is ukranian/european intelligence in a last best bid to do anything to stop the oncoming destruction and enslavement of their people, which I get, and sympathize with. if i were them i would have dropped a piano on that fucking asshole 8 years ago, and will go to my grave not knowing why they didn’t. james bond? nobody. urkainians are dead men walking, and this is as good a thing as any to put out into the world as a last gasp. but if you’ve known donald trump from his nyc days, and through all his failed businesses, and his ties to racists and organized crime explaining the only way he’s been able to float above all his failures, and know who his father was, and what he sees as the true order he believes the world should work, it’s not rocket science.
