      There are two potential causes for that.

      First, inability to exert enough pressure to trigger the device. That can be resolved by duct-taping an anti-personnel mine to the top.

      Second, because it’s easy to avoid. That can be resolved by duct-taping a Roomba to the bottom. Once your minefield is tearing around bouncing off random surfaces, it becomes a lot more exciting.

      Most problems can be solved with duct tape.
