For a few brief moments is seemed like everyone around here did not, in fact, forget Sandy. And that red state politicians tried to block aid. But nope, there’s Jeff Van Drew, professional balloon knot lubricator and turncoat for hire.

      Fuck you, plaid patterned shitstain.

I feel like there should be a follow up of Republicans who voted against FEMA funding then criticized aid and rescue efforts in the affected areas. I imagine it would be a very similar list so it probably wouldn’t take long to make.

First of all, this information was a matter of public record to begin with. Secondly, if it does not already exist, there should be a bot or website that posts which congress people voted for what and when on the regular.

Lastly, I’m appalled at how this article is framing this whole conversation. It feels like they are making this article too much about what the Harris campaign is doing, and less about the people who are voting against funding FEMA.

Then again, maybe I’m reading too much into it. I’d love to hear other thoughts.

You’re not reading too much into it. Republican campaign thrives through demonizing the democrats and media profits thrive through pitting one against the other, so there’s definitely an underlying goal here.

The fanatical will fanaticise and call this a hit list of people the Dems are trying to get rid of in order to derail Trump’s bid for presidency. It will make the people believing that the Dems are controlling the weather even more rabid for an uprising should Trump lose.

There really should be a website. Or an app. Then if it gets big enough, you could ask for interviews to explain their reasoning. But it could get pretty big, possibly make the country better.

They should be made to wear signs saying that they voted against FEMA packages while touring their destroyed states. Or are they worried they might lose an election if people actually knew their stances?
