Rudy was a bully when he was NYC Mayor. He loved arresting the homeless for panhandling and fare evasion. Let him deal with the system he loved so much

Also for how much he gets credit for cracking down on organized crime, there’s not nearly enough talk about the kinds of organized crime he cracked down on and the kinds he didn’t. I’m not saying be was in the pocket if the Russians all along or anything. But I’m for sure saying be definitely did a lot to ensure the Russian mob’s success

I know it wasn’t him but really feel like he would give homeless people fake money so they get arrested

That was a popular police tactic back in the 1980s. They’d have a guy pretend to be drunk with money falling out of his pocket. Easy arrest. Eventually the courts called it entrapment. Definitely a Rudy style trick

Why hasn’t trump commented on his former attorney’s concerning legal issues? Why is he staying out of the spotlight?

If he doesn’t address this with a heavily scrutinized press conference it will be a weight dragging him down. This plus all the other baggage trump has (and his mental issues) will cause voters to move away from him. It may be time for a different candidate to be nominated at the convention.

Bankruptcy filing that include monetary judgements should require them to live off minimum wage with all other funds going to the judgment until it is paid completely.

Rudy’s been saying he can’t live on $40k/mo.

I just hope Rudy was stupid enough to try to hide his money with his Russian friends. Best case, the NATO IC watched him do it. But even if he parked it successfully, the Russian mob will be likely to simply steal it from him and cut him loose. Rudy’s a sinking ship.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Lawyers for Giuliani and his two biggest creditors — two former election workers he was found to have defamed — had agreed that dismissing the case was the best way forward.

His creditors can now pursue other legal remedies to recoup at least some of the money they’re owed, such as getting a court order to seize his apartments and other assets.

Lane said evidence in the case showed that Giuliani had failed to meet obligations of financial transparency required of a debtor and that dismissing the bankruptcy was in the best interests of people to whom the ex-mayor owes money.

“The lack of financial transparency is particularly troubling given concerns that Mr. Giuliani has engaged in self-dealing and that he has potential conflicts of interest that would hamper the administration of his bankruptcy case,” Lane wrote in a 22-page decision.

Giuliani filed for bankruptcy last December, days after the two ex-Georgia election workers — Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea “Shaye” Moss — won a $148 million defamation judgment against him.

They said Giuliani’s targeting of them because of Trump’s lies about the 2020 election being stolen led to death threats that made them fear for their lives.
